Frederick, Maryland, USA, Monday, 31 March 2008. We are pleased to announce that Marlon Artis has been appointed to the position of Director of Sales and Marketing, Dewert Division. Marlon Artis joined Phoenix Mecano, Inc. in 2006 as a Mechanical Engineer with the Rose+Bopla Division. Marlon has worked on many high profile projects for the enclosures division in his short tenure, most notably establishing a partnership with a membrane keypad manufacturer. Marlon will now lead the Dewert North American operation in its efforts to develop and expand its market position.
     Marlon began his career managing multi-million dollar contracts in the development of test equipment for the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration/Department of Transportation (NHTSA/DOT) and Honda Motor Corporation, Japan. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Design Engineering from Old Dominion University and his Master of Business Administration degree from Frostburg State University.
